Dear Colleagues,
Don’t forget to share your scholarship at the 2003 Florida College English Association Conference! The 2003 Florida College English Association Conference will take place October 16th and 17th at the lovely Holiday Inn Harborside Resort in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida: http://www.hiharborside.com .
We will continue to accept proposals for the 2003 Florida College English Association Conference until October 1st. We welcome any proposals regarding the discipline.
Don’t forget to book your rooms at the Holiday Inn: http://www.hiharborside.com by October 1st to secure the $72 Conference rate. The normal rate is much higher so mention the FCEA Conference when you make your reservations. You may wish to reserve rooms for Oct 15th and Oct 16th or stay the whole weekend as the conference rates may be extended. Don’t forget your bathing suits--so you can enjoy the dazzling Gulf Coast beaches!
This year’s conference registration will include an island style banquet on Thursday and a catered Cuban lunch on Friday.
The 2003 FCEA conference will feature a dynamic play about Hemingway and Fitzgerald—delivered by Dr. Phillip Sipiora and Dr. Laurence Broer of the University of South Florida—on Thursday evening. The celebrated Bill Maxwell—of the St. Petersburg Times—will deliver an address on Friday morning.
Conference Registration will be $50.00 for full-time faculty and $40.00 for adjuncts and graduate students. FCEA Membership is $15.00. Conference fees and membership information can be found at:
