Reading Through the Muck Presenters are encouraged to investigate and to write about Florida works that challenge authority, speak to ecological interests, explore Florida authors’ works, and address composition issues such as research and documentation.
In
addition, the FCEA welcomes all submissions in English language,
literature, and pedagogy and
in allied studies.
Graduate
students are invited to make submissions.

Florida studies will be published in the third annual Call for Poets and Musicians
The journal Florida English, along with
FCEA, is sponsoring a two-hour afternoon coffeehouse on Thursday at the
2007 conference, complete with complimentary soft drinks, very light
snacks, and of course coffee. Some short acoustic performances will be
included as well. We are in need of a few good poets to read their work
at this event. Selected poets will get a ten to fifteen minute spot and
their names in the conference program. Submit your work to Jeff

We are also looking for an acoustic guitarist or two to perform short
