Hero (and
Anti-hero)

Crackers, Crooks, Explorers, Pioneers, Detectives, Poets, Lovers . . .
In
addition, the FCEA welcomes all submissions in English language,
literature, and pedagogy and
in allied studies.
Graduate
students are invited to make submissions. For
The
FCEA Annual Conference November 9 & 10, 2006 at Submit
100-200 word abstract including a title, your name, your institution, an
email address and a postal address (by USPS mail only) to Keith
Huneycutt, Department of English, Florida Southern College, 111 Lake
Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland Florida, 33803. All further correspondence
will be conducted by email. Select papers in
Florida studies will be published in the second annual Call
for Poets The
journal Florida English, along with FCEA, is sponsoring a two-hour
afternoon coffeehouse on Thursday at the 2006 conference, complete with
complimentary soft drinks, very light snacks, and, of course, coffee.
Some short acoustic performances will be included as well.
