Exploring potential of selling on Amazon, as this is a special Imagist issue with materials never published in other arenas.
Looking for new theme for next year's edition
This year's edition will be handed out in folder for all at conference
Sell for $10.00 additional copies at Registration table
Back issues will be sold for $5.00 at Registration table
Claudia Slate – Florida English
Enclosed Call for Submissions for next edition in Registration folders
Made it to MLA Bib last year, and Claudia is working for next year
Going with Cambridge again for publication
Deadline for Submissions: Dec. 15 (asking that applicants follow format for submissions)
Donald Pharr offered to help with formatting for both journals over the summer
Will include a small poetry sessions, but will not compete with other journal

All rooms but 1 are wired at hotel and at HCC
Registration opens 8-3:30 on Thursday and 8-10:30 on Friday
Will work to make sure doors stay locked to avoid robbery at HCC
All details in place for conference at both locations
New Business
Steve Brahlek and Carol Policy – FCEA Conference 2009
Brought color flyers of event designed by Amy Policy / flyers will be enclosed in Registration packets
Luncheon fees will be raised to $25.00
15/30/15 rooms booked (must use 80% to avoid feeds and must have rooms claimed by mid-September)
Steve is working to gather historians to discuss Trapper Nelson, the owner of 600 acres that is now Jonathan Dickenson State Park as plenary speaker / will work to get 1 or 2 Park Rangers to speak as well.
Will work with local schools to increase support and participation (FAU, Nova, Lynn, Miami Dade)
CEA
Will encourage applications to CEA and put flyer in Registration packets
Would like to have about 12 FCEA members travel to conference
Stone Shiflet – Mailing Update
Will work with Donald after conference to get updated list of members and participants for conference
Will send completed list to board members
April Van Camp – Glassman-O'Sullivan Award
Award will be given this year and then retired due to inconsistencies over funding
Will dedicate proceedings to O'Sullivan next year
Steve Knapp of IRCC will receive award from O'Sullivan
Anna Lillios will receive the Distinguished Colleague Award / O'Sullivan will present
